Melissa Selver is an Attorney-at-Law practicing for the past 13 years, having been called to the Bahamas Bar in April, 2002. She is the founder of South-West Legal Services, and her areas of expertise are Family Law, Civil Litigation, Property & Real Estate Development, Private & Wealth Management, Company Formation & Company Management. She has worked extensively in matters involving our local lending institutions in New Providence and throughout the Family Islands.
Ms. Selver has given legal lectures at various seminars primarily on Family Law and Private & Wealth Management. She is a member of the Bahamas Bar Association’s Financial Service Group, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and currently enrolled with the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS).
Ms. Selver obtained her Associate of Arts Degree in June 1995, LLB in December 1999 and completed the Bar Vocational Course in 2001. Her experience working with small, medium and large Firms has inspired her to establish her own Firm where she can offer a more hands-on approach with assisting her clients in resolving their legal matters.
